and families. We believe this grant will help women to believe
in the power of their dreams and help give them the financial
means and inspiration to start their own business."
Women who wish to can apply for the grant starting in August
of 2002. This grant will be awarded in a national competition
open to all qualified women business owners. To be eligible,
the applicant must be a female, over 18 years of age, starting

that owning my own home based business has allowed me to
be there for my family and still have a career," says
Michelle Floyd, co-founder of Webmomz. "I realize the
importance of family, and have a firm desire to help other
women have the same kind of success. We hope that this program
will benefit women who are looking for a way to have more
time with their family, and have the same kind of fulfillment
and prosperity in their lives that a home-based business
can offer."
Applicants will submit personal information, their business
plan, and why they feel their business should win the grant.
