Direct Selling Moms: You won’t want to miss this HUGE event for Direct Selling Leaders  2

Posted on June 27th, 2007. About Direct Selling, Events, Recent Posts.

I hope you’ll join me for an exciting event called Profit, Purpose and Beyond coming up this September.

It’s a one of a kind event for direct selling leaders who want to go to the next level.

I will be joining eight other nationally- and internationally-known business leaders, coaches and luminaries about what direct sales moms need to know to create more freedom, more time and more money.

The best part is it’s a virtual event that you can attend right from your home office that’s happening on Sept 12 – Nov. 5, 2007 .

Did you know that direct sales (also called network marketing or multi-level marketing) is a $30.47 Billion a year industry. And yet many direct sellers struggle to make a full-time income.

That’s why business coach Sarah Robinson has put together this lineup of speakers to share their innovative strategies for business and life success in direct selling.

The lineup of speakers includes:
- T. Harv Eker, author of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind and lasts for 9 nine weeks.
- Tom Barrett , author of Dare to Dream, Work to Win
- Les Brown , author of Live Your Dreams and is a world renowned motivational speaker
- Kim Fulcher , President, Life Compass Coaching
- Les Hewitt , co-author of The Power of Focus
- Cynthia Kersey , President, Unstoppable Enterprises and author of Unstoppable
- Kristie T., Creator of Webmomz, Author of I Love My Life, Marketer Extraordinaire
- Michael Port, author of Book Yourself Solid
- ….and One TBA speaker who is so super-busy that we are still working out the details

Sarah Robinson of Hot Pink Success is coordinating this event. She says that direct sellers “want strategies and blueprints that they can apply immediately to start working smarter rather than harder. They also want to learn from experts who understand the specific needs of a direct selling leader. Profit, Purpose and Beyond delivers all of this and so much more. And the best part is, direct selling leaders can access it from anywhere in the world without costly travel expenses. All they need is their telephone.”

Space is limited to 500 participants. For details go to http://www.webmomz.com/profitpurpose.htm .

Don’t miss this incredible event for direct sellers. Hope to see you there!

Keeping the Kids Busy in the Summer time  6

Posted on June 13th, 2007. About Recent Posts, Work at Home Moms.

Hey work at home moms — what do you do with your kids in the summer to keep them busy? Do you send them to summer camps? Do you get the season tickets to the local pool? Keeping the kids happy and entertained during the summer is challenging, especially when you work from home. If the kids aren’t happy, you won’t be happy, and then you won’t be able to work.

We do a lot of playdates at our house. We go to the library and get books. We rent movies. And the kids LOVE being on the computer. Here’s a list of 83 Fun Summertime Activities for the Kids.

And then yesterday we did something cool - we gave the kids chores. But instead of telling the kids what chores they had to do, we let them take ownership in the process. We had a family meeting. We made a list together of all the chores in the house. Then we let the kids pick which chores they wanted to do.

Here is a free chore chart for the kids to help them keep track of their chores.

I am SO surprised how much they enjoyed being part of the planning process. And so far, it’s day 2, they are still happily pitching in doing chores.

Do your kids do chores? How do you assign what they do? How do you keep your kids entertained during the summer?

Why has Kristie’s blog been so quiet???  3

Posted on June 6th, 2007. About Home Business, Recent Posts, Work at Home Moms.

Just to let you all know I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth, or gotten bored with my blog. I just needed to take a little personal time out. I LOVE my work and helping all of you. And it was high time to take a break and focus on family and give back a bit to them. I feel so thankful to have a career that let’s me take some “chill time” when I need to.

Anyway, I missed you all very much. And I wanted to let you know “I’m back”.

Hope everything is good with you.

Let’s stir up some fun and make money together… *grin*

Love you all bunches!

Your work at home mom friend,

Posted on June 5th, 2007. About Home Business, Recent Posts.

My friend, Nicole Dean, has just launched a fun new site with home business ideas for moms, and it looks promising.
In her usual light-hearted way, she’s managed to come up with a cool name and even a mascot “Babs VonScambuster”.

You’ve got to check this one out.
www.JustAddSweat.com
And, if you’re not interested in the home business ideas she offers… get on her list because they’re adding four new books and audios very soon.
