For 2 years I have been puzzled at why my printer would not print PDFs.  I would download the latest version of Adobe Reader over and over with no cure.  Today a search in Google provided the cure.  At last I can print PDFs on my Mac laptop.  It was just a simple adjustment in the Advanced Printer Settings of Adobe Reader to make it “print as image”.  BINGO!

This morning I was going onto the Fanpage of a local women’s networking group I spoke at and wanted to Become a Fan.  I found myself frustrated scanning the page and finding NO WHERE the Become a Fan button.  It finally took Googling “how to become a Fan on Facebook” to find that Facebook has changed it so now you have to LIKE a fanpage to Become a Fan.

Just wanted to make you aware of this change in Facebook.

In case you are a fairly new Mac user like me, you may from time to time find your computer freezing up with a stalled program.  On my old PC, Control Alt Delete worked like a charm, but that doesn’t work for Mac. Found out that if you try pressing Command + Option + Escape keys it takes you to a Force Quit Applications screen that allows you to close the halted program.  YEAH! Relief at last. No more frozen screens. You have any cool Mac tricks?
