Here’s some ideas of what they might include in a testimonial letter or a letter of recommendation:
I ask every client. Say something like this….
Do you think you could put together a testimonial for me? I’d love to feature it on the site and it would be great exposure for you. Would you please take a few minutes to tell me what you liked best about working with me? Thanks in advance for your time. I truly appreciate it
Here’s some ideas of what you can include in a written testimonial
- what problems you were facing before hiring me
- what I did that solve those problems
- results you are seeing after using my product/service
- what the process of working with me like
- how you feel about the end result
And these days, be sure to ask customers to review you at online review sites. Here are a few online review sites where you can ask customers to rate your services.
Yelp!, Insider Pages, Google Maps, Bing Local, City Search, Yahoo Local, Local.com, Merchant Circle
So don’t be shy. Ask your customers to sing your praises. Most of the time they are happy to do so.
