Here are Mike’s 5 guidelines for visualizing life changes:
1. Visualize no more than once a day.
2. Visualize no longer than 5-10 minutes.
3. Imagine every conceivable detail: sights, sounds, colors, textures, etc.
4. Put yourself inside the picture.
5. Dwell only upon the end result or beyond, not “HOW” you’re going to get there.

The Secret is truly an amazing book. It reminds us of what we may already know about the power within ourselves, yet we may tend to disregard or underestimate it. This book draws my attention to the importance of imagining individual steps toward a dream, especially how my mind enables me to rethink apparent obstacles. I’m reminded obstacles themselves are blessings. I have the power to decide how I’ll respond to people and situations. I can reframe things to my advantage. I choose to act upon life, rather than be acted upon.
To quote Stephen Covey, “We can and we should become the creative force of our own lives–and futures.” (Everyday Greatness,p.xi)

The movie the Secret has come to us in a time that the world needs to see positive things. The world has seen so many wars and destruction world wide from tsunami’s and hurricanes and respect for others is hardly seen like when our parents lived. It has given the world hope that we all can think positive things and for many who really believe good things will happen. Like Attracts Like. Many people are trying really hard to be none believers of the message the Secret has brought to people. That is good though because so many people had non believers like the Wright Brothers with the plane NASA with putting a man on the moon, but they proved people wrong. So in a time that somebody is promoting hope and a positive message people are jumping on the band wagon of the Secret and that is a good thing. Dave
You’ve really pulled together some resources re. the secret quite nicely.
While many of us have been living the secret for decades before the book was born, it is a nice reminder of some aspects of what the real secret it.
And you’ve done a good job with your base pointers as well as with your associated resources. I personally know that being in a state of gratitude works on a soul level and cuts through the earthen dimension of limitations.
