Integrity: The 4 Way Test
I am sipping from my morning coffee cup and noticed something. It’s a cup that I got as a gift from the local Rotary Club.
It says:
The 4-Way Test of the things we think, say, or do:
1) Is it the Truth?
2) Is it Fair to all concerned?
3) Will it build Goodwill and Friendships?
4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned.
What a great integity test for our intentions.
Another good test of integrity comes from the pastor of our church. He once said, “If you are ever in doubt of the integrity of something ask yourself, ‘would I be okay with this if my mother knew about it?’ If the answer is no, then you’d better pass on it.”
