9 Cool Things to Put On The Back of Business Cards

Duct Tape Marketing Blogger John Jantsch had an interesting post about the “anti business card”. In his post, he was review marketer Bob Bly’s comments that you shouldn’t use a business card. He says instead to get the other person’s business card, and use that as a great excuse to mail them an article or something directly along with your business card.

I say keep business cards on hand. And be sure to use the back of the business card too! It’s hot real estate and you don’t want to waste it!

What to put on the back of your business card:

1- an offer where they can get a free report from your website
2- map/directions to your office
3- coupon
4- benefits from using your service
5- a place to write a reminder about their next appointment
6- a list of your services
7- how to request a free catalog
8- your 30 second introduction
9- a calendar

I like to put a photograph or my product on the back of my cards. Another idea is to put something handy such as a mini metric conversion chart, if that fits in with your industry.
