Are you making a living, making a life, or making a difference?

I attended a really cool personal development seminar yesterday. It got me thinking about…

Are you making a living, making a life, or making a difference?

- Making a living is about doing something for the money

- Making a life is about creating a business that
supports the lifestyle you want to live

- Making a difference is about giving your best
to others in service and getting back tenfold

I have seen myself move thru the process and finally feel like I am at a place where I am making a difference. The joy and satisfaction in that is tremendous.

What purpose is your home business serving for you?

Good question. In the beginning, I think I was focused on making a living first, then a life, and then a difference… if things were working out to the point where I could even think about a bigger picture than my bills.

But now, I believe I’m finding that if I put my focus on making a difference, then a life, and then a living, the living-needs get met better than when the focus was the other way around.

We are drawn to passion, like moths to a flame. It only stands to reason that if we can become inspired in that way, we’ll inspire others; and then we’ll all be successful.
