It feels like a very heavy time.  Jobs are being lost.  The economy is slow.  The flow of business is slowing down for pretty much everyone I speak to.  In times like this we REALLY need to be good to ourselves.  If you don’t fill your own cup - you don’t HAVE anything to share with others.

April 22 is Earth Day - 10 Ways to Go Green with your Home Based Business

1) Turn off lights when you leave a room

2) Shut off computers when you are not using them

3) Print less. Use both rides of the paper. Use chorine free paper. Use recycled paper.

4) Go paperless when possible.

5) Recycle everything you can. You can also recyvle cell phones, pdas, and pagers.

6) Buy recycled and eco-friendly products when possible

7) Save gasoline when possible. Car pool. Take public transportation when possible. Schedule web based or teleconferences instead of in person meetings.

Use nontoxic and organic cleaning products to tidy up your office.

9) Use refillable ink cartridges

10) Use less disposable items for lunch. Use reusable dishes, real silverware, and glasses when possible to cut down on paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic disposable silverware.
