Huge news and Massive Thanks! – Hubby got a job!
Posted on February 21, 2007 | 2 comments | Filed in UncategorizedI just got the most wonderful phone call. My husband Joe had a meeting with his old corporate boss. They were going to
discuss strategy on getting my husband back into the workforce. Well, he offered my husband a job. Not only does he
get to do his job from home, but, he also gets more money they he made before.
All I can say is thanks. Thanks to all of you who lifted us up in prayer. We were really scared and your support meant so much.
I can’t believe what a wonderful, giving, kind community you are. That meant the world to me. Thank you!
And thanks to God. We have really been praying for an answer. We were willing to work our butts off, sell the house, do whatever it took. And God gave us the biggest gift.
I just wanted to share the joy with you. You all mean so much to me.

That’s great news Kristie!
Loss of job situations can be so terrifying! My hubbie owns his own construction business, but has been affected by the change in the Phoenix housing market this last year, after 5 years of total boom and more work than he could handle. A few times last year, he was let go from large projects due to a slow down in work. And this was just after we spent a quarter million dollars on a new piece of heavy equipment to expand the business! After sweating major bullets, we just sat down and sent good thoughts and prayers to the universe to make more work appear. Then he followed it up with lots of networking and was never off work for more than 2 days.
I am really happy for you and your family and am glad you didn’t have to make any major shifts that you didn’t want to right now, like selling your house.
I totally agree that the Law of Attraction works … when you hustle your buns to make sure to match action with attraction. Good karma comes into play — what goes around comes around.
