Kids Activities - 52 Ways to Keep Kids Happy While Working from Home

It’s hard to work when the kids are saying “Mom, I’m bored.” Found a cure for that - a list with great ideas for activities for kids. Crayola has a great list of kids activities. It’s called 52 Ideas for 52 Weeks of Fun. Lots of great ideas for keeping your kids happy without using the TV as a babysitter. (I’m not too hip about that!)

Here’s that list of children’s activities

What favorite kids activities do your children do to stay happy while you work?

Thanks for the list. I’ve been going to create a box of activities that my youngest kid could do only when I’m on the phone. It seems that the time she wants my attention the most is when I’m in the middle of a conference call, or talking to a prospect.

So I think I’ll incorporate some ideas of the list and actually create that box. Your posting inspired me to write about your article and additional resources at

My kids love to imitate me. They whip out my old laptop that i don`t use no more, put fake glasses on, grab a “coffee cup” and sit at they’re little desk playing “work” as they say. They can play for a couple of hours ! And believe it or not, i can accomplish quite a bit in that time. They rarely need my attention, except for signing checks… hehehe

    Regards
