One Mom Can Change the World!

From the time I was a little kid, Helen Keller has always been one of my heroes. She had every disadvantage in life and chose to move past it. And when I think of how Helen was able as a blind and deaf person to do incredible things, it inspires me.

Here is one of my favorite quotes from Helen Keller. It reminds me that even if there is one small thing that you can do, that one thing could really change the world. Kind of a cooler version of the Starfish story I guess.

“I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do.”
    – Helen Keller
    1880-1968, Author and Lecturer

After doing a sixth grade book report on her, Helen Keller has remained one of my special heroes, also. Thank you so much for telling us that quote. It is the same message as the starfish story, but, one I love so much.
