The Secret movie was an awesome example of how the law of attraction can summon the universal powers to manifest people situations and material things into your life.

All of the presenters had compelling stories that described in detail how their lives changed once they applied the secret principals.

I watched the movie several times only to discover the secret was never revealed nor did they explain how to actually make the law of attraction work in your favor.

I searched for a year and finally discovered exactly how the secret law of attraction works.

Anybody can put the principals to work for them and change their life dramatically in a short period of time.

It’s true, they are laws and they work all the time but its your choice to make them work for you and not against you.

In the past, I used slow times in my business to work on my business. Once I got out of the 'I have to do something to drum up clients' mode, I realized that down times were a blessing to help me further develop my services, products and workflow. It gave me time to rewrite my contract and proposal templates or create white pages I could give to clients explaining things I said over and over.

Of course, if your business is struggling and you can't buy food, that's s different story. In that case, I suggest evaluate your position as objectively as you can. Don't panic. Then choose one idea for getting clients and follow through with it as much as you can. And when you get a contact, return emails or phone calls immediately - that's always impressive.

I reread Mark Twain's story "The $30,000 Bequest," about a couple who stand to inherit money from a cranky distant relative, so long as they never mention this bequest to anyone while the relative survives. The wife invests (in her mind), becoming wealthier and more prominent, until she has married off their daughters (in her mind) to English nobility. Meanwhile, the husband buys (in his mind) ever more extravagant clothing, furniture, real estate and trappings. Ultimately they learn the rich uncle has died, leaving them ... nothing. The gloom and bitterness that assaults them after years of building elaborate castles in the air (excuse the cliche, but it's appropriate) is palpable. This story makes me focus on what I need to do in the present, and not yesterday or next year.

Nice book report, huh? ;)

Hi Kristie,

I understand how hard it can be living off one income. I'm the sole income provider for my family (wife, boy 2½ years old, and girl 6 months old).

I struggle every day with no money for things needed, but that's ok. I know my situation is only temporary. I have the confidence that I will succeed and I won't give up. I just finished watching "The Secret" and I highly recommend checking it out.

You can visit The Secret's website at http://www.thesecret.tv. I also wrote about it today on my blog at http://www.s-cole.com/this-really-is-the-secret-to-success/

Stay positive and best of success. :)

Have a great day,
S. Cole
