Homemade Slime Recipe
Remember the Slime when you were a kid? If you love homemade
playdough, your kids will have a blast with this homemade
slime reciple. Warning, this recipe is not safe for toddlers
who may try to eat it. As always, your children should be
supervised while using the slime.
Slime Recipe
- 1 quart water
- 1/4 cup Borax
- 2 large jars with lids
- 1 cup Elmer's glue
- 1 cup water
- food coloring
- zip lock bags
1. In
one of the large glass jars, take a cup of water
and add to it 1 Tbs. of Borax. Stir to dissolve.
2. In the other jar, make a 50% water 50% white glue solution
and all of the the food coloring.
3. You
now have 2 seperate jars. To make the slime, add
equal parts of the borax solution to equal parts of the
glue solution. 1/2 cup of each will make a cup of slime.
4. Seal
and squish.
5.
Store in a zip lock bag in the refrigerator.
6. Wash your hands after playing.
*Special Note: Due
to the Borax and blue of this slime recipe,
it is potentially toxic to toddlers and domestic
animals and should be handled with care. Make sure your
dog or kids doen't eat it.
